The repair bench

Expert help for everyday repairs and difficult work.

Jerry evaluates the piece, explains the options and recommends an appropriate solution before work begins.

Maintenance & repair

Everyday wear

Ring sizing, chain links, clasps, earring posts, stone tightening and inspections.

Delicate work

Restoration

Antique jewelry, heirloom pieces, fine details, missing or damaged settings and worn components.

Specialized tools

Laser precision

Targeted joining and reconstruction where a traditional soldering approach may be less suitable.

No blanket promises

The right repair begins with a close look.

Before anyone promises a fix, the piece should be examined. Age, metal, stone sensitivity, construction and prior repairs all matter.

Jerry works with all common precious metals and a broad range of gemstones. Laser welding may help with difficult locations, but a case-by-case evaluation determines the safest approach.
